Clarion Collection Hotel Atlantic was built in 1914, and has since then played an important role in the history of Sandefjord. This was especially evident during the golden years of whaling, when Sandefjord grew to be the Norway's most important whaling centre. Throughout the hotel building you will find displays, documents and showcases telling the story of whaling and its impact on the town.
The hotel invites guests to afternoon coffee and tea with waffles. A light evening buffet is included in the room price and served every day 18.00-21.00.
