At the Feriengasthof "Tauernstüberl" and Hotel "Gletscherblick":

In the summertime we offer free bike rental to our guests and use of our outdoor pool (in July and August).

In the wintertime there is a free toboggan rental and a ski lift at 500 metres from the houses. Ski bus stops in front of the houses. Once a week the hotel holds fondue or a buffet night.

Zell am See/Kaprun is only 1 hour by car from the Mozart City of Salzburg. "See und Schnee" (lake and snow) on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier) offered during the whole year. Enjoy air and water of the highest quality, a wonderful old town centre, museums and an almost unlimited range of sports and leisure activities.

By car - from Germany:
Motorway Munich - Salzburg (A 8) : exit at Siegsdorf (B306) then take the Inzell (B312), then via Lofer (B311) and Saalfelden. Before Zell am See, take the tunnel Schmittentunnel for about 5 km. Exit the tunnel and turn right direction Kaprun/Mittersill. At the traffic lights, carry on straight ahead for about 500 meters, then you will find the hotel on your right side: Gasthof Tauernstüberl.

Please note: you won’t use any Austrian motorways so you do not have to buy the Vignette.

Have a seat in our cosy restaurant - either in the old area or in the modern area. You will find the hotel's bar in the new part of the restaurant.

Come and enjoy the typical Austrian cuisine with regional, light and healthy snacks, international specialities and homemade sweets. In the summertime, there is a barbecue once a week and a farmers' buffet. During the winter season, there is a fondue evening once a week and farmers buffet.

Please note that the à la carte restaurant is closed during the low season.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 30 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge for extra beds.
One older child or adult is charged EUR 29.00 per night and person in an extra bed.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: 30 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: 10 % VAT is included.
Service charge is not applicable.
City/tourist tax is included.

Internet: Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and charges are applicable.
Internet via modem is available in public areas and costs EUR 3.00 per hour.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.
