This newly renovated youth and family guesthouse is located at the foot of the imposing Loser mountain in the heart of the Ausseerland region in the Styrian part of the Salzkammergut.
JUFA Altaussee offers a cosy lounge, a chill-out café with a sun terrace, a playroom and a playground, a saltwater steam bath and a sauna area, and an internet corner. There is also a cinema, modern seminar rooms, and a ski and ski boot storage room.
The impressive Altaussee Salt Worlds, a historic salt mine, are directly opposite. In winter the slopes of the Loser-Sandling ski area end right next to JUFA Gästehaus Altaussee.
